This impressive stone windmill is the highlight of one of the nicest walks one can take in the modern city of Jerusalem -- starting from the upscale Yemin Moshe residential quarter (of which the windmill is the centerpiece), continuing along the beautifully manicured Bloomfield Garden and the Lion Fountain, and culminating in the historic German Colony neighborhood. Opposite the Bloomfield Garden is the Liberty Bell Park, with its replica of the famous Philadelphia landmark.

One of the most iconic sites on Jerusalem. Set in a picturesque historic Yemin Moshe neighborhood. Great views on the Old city walls, David's Tower, Mt. Zion and Jaffo Gate.

A beautiful place in jerusalem. A place where you can walk through beautiful alleyways. A place where the scenery is magical. A windmill of hope for the first residents living outside Jerusalem's old city. Come.and be inspired

Interesting history to the windmill. Great view of the Old City. The website indicated that they were open that particular day until 2 pm. But we found nothing inside or that required access that could be closed off.
