It's located in Jerusalem right above the western wall ( so much problems !!!! )it is the second most holy place for the MUSLIM WORLD ,the Muslims believe that from here the prophet MUHAMAD ASSENTED TO HEAVEN

I came here only for beautiful arhitecture of Temple Mount and I disregarded this mosque. It is very big and with nice inside, but compared with other mosques, not worth too much attention.

An amazing mosque, seen so much over the years, the 3rd holiest mosque for all Muslims and an important part of Al-Aqsa complex, been renovated with what ever funds they got to look after this historic icon of Jerusalem history

Despite the chaos and oppression that surrounds it, the walls of the Aqsa mosque bring a sense of tranquility to the hearts that frequent it; It provides the escape that many Palestinians yearn for.
