The Castel itself is impressive as a building but it also hosts a very instructive museum of the city so that you got a full picture of the history of Jerusalem since the cannaneans (circa 3500 years BCE). Last but not least you'll get an astonishing view on the whole city from the top of the main towers of the... More

The tour of the museum at The Tower of David is a good start to a visit to the Old City of Jerusalem. It presents a time line of the major conquerors and rulers of Jerusalem over the centuries. Explanations written in Hebrew and English help you to organize events and put things in perspective. Replicas and timely dress worn... More

The Tower of David is beautiful and you shouldn't miss the view from the actual tower. It's one of the best photo spots in Jerusalem for me. But what I liked most was the light show telling the story of Jerusalem! Just awesome!

Love this place! Learned more about history than possible otherwise because I could linger over the parts that filled in the gaps of History that I needed. Nice cafe too. Tickets to walk ramparts available

We went back to the Tower of David for a nighttime light show. Amazing technology showing the history of Jerusalem in pictures. So glad we did this.

This attraction has a lot of history of Jerusalem, I just wish there was a museum guide. You can read the signs, but there aren't that many of them so you are not completely sure what you are looking at. The location in convenient and the price to get in is moderate.

One can join the tour guide or self-guide at this museum. While most of the exhibits are replicas, it really gives a good overview of the history of Jerusalem and the nation of Israel in a historic and peaceful setting.

We have visited the lightshow at the tower of David and it was beautiful. You have to experience this to understand. It shows some history of Jerusalem and ask for peace. It isnt a real must see but it is nice to experience it.
