About ChefBaLaShuk
This is a tour about food and people that is taking place at Wadi Nissnas. The tour is conducted leisurely and takes two hour's and a half and then some. During the tour we meet the local people, taste delicious food, hear explanations related to food and stories associated with the place. There are good people there – people of peace, people with open heart. The tours are conducted for pre-organized groups so they are scheduled in advance according to the group will and to the time available. usually these are privet tours for closed groups. There is a minimum of 10 participants to start a tour or the sum of 1200 shekel (according to 120 Shekel per person) I'll be more then happy to see you in my tour you are always welcome

Chef Rani (Ba La Shuk) is a food connoisseur, a cultural ambassador, and could be elected town Mayor if he wanted. He knows everybody in the neighborhood, and everyone loves Rani. His tour lasted three hours, we visited all the food “ institutions” in the area, with most places founded 20 to 50 years ago. The bakeries were my favorite, sampling the most delicious sweets, but the coffee shops, the spice stores, the various restaurants we visited( many run by the second or third generation), the butchers, the fabulous different falafel and shawarma places, etc, were all fabulous. Chef Rani runs a fantastic food tour of Haifa, and if you’ve already toured the Baha’i temple, and are looking for a different, but wonderful type of tour, where you actually meet and interact with wonderful local people, as they show off their specialties. Call Chef Rani immediately.

We celebrated my husband’s aunt 70 birthday in a special way by having a big family tour in Wadi Nisnas in Haifa with ChefBaLaShuk. He did it in a funny way, not boring that even young children could understand, told us interesting stories about the shops around and looks like he is very familiar and well known there.During the tour we ate small appetizers in the shops and it was a pleasant experience.

A few of us were in Haifa on biz and joined Rani for an enjoyable tour of the city. He is a warm, and friendly host, motivated by his desire to show how diverse people and cultures can come together and share their love of life. The food at the many stops along the tour is all good and you get a great sampling of what is good in Haifa. Thanks, to Rani and all of the wonderful biz owners/families we met. I can't wait to go back in the future with my wife! I recommend the experience!👍

It was a real pleasure. The guy is not "just" an actor but very knowledgeable. The tastes are unique, the stories are interesting. I strongly recommend.
