Magically Illuminated at Night
Dec 2019
Gorgeous manicured gardens, magically illuminated at night, sit prominently above Haifa on the northern slope of Mount Carmel. We were unable to tour the massive shrine at the pinnacle of the Baha'i Gardens, but rather viewed the religious site from its base while the moon rose above. Staircases up the terraced levels provide access and design interest.

Very nice and historic

A beautiful and high place that extends from Benjerion Street in Haifa until it slopes upward to the Carmel Mountains, a place with very beautiful flowers and it is very clean and you feel comfortable inside, and it is considered a religious shrine for the Baha'i religion, which is one of the monotheistic religions and the founder of this religion, Hussein Al-Nuri from Iran, and it is located inside the garden The seat of the House of Justice of the Baha'i Faith

Currently Closed but Beautiful as Ever
Jun 2020
I didnt enter because of Covid closure, but still took some wildly beautiful photos from the outside. Mind you, if you stand at the bottom of the Bahai Gardens, your back is facing the port of Haifa. The whole experience is very beautiful - a must-see!

Majestic gardens by Mount Carmel
Apr 2020
This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site so if you're on a pilgrimage of the Holy Land and gets to see this as included in your trip - its a big bonus. Also called the Hanging Gardens of Haifa. This is a huge garden and what an amazing view it is.

Dramatic views down to the sea for the photographer
Jan 2020
Most tours of Haifa will stop at the viewpoint looking down the gardens to Haifa and the water. They are dramatic with several stages down to the Shrine. After passing
a security check you can walk down a layer or two for closer views. Photographers will find this gives you more opportunities and better angles for shots. Travel light, no tripod is advisable, DSLR with a zoom lens works nicely. Watch for contrast from shade to sun lit areas, so some post-processing may be needed. There are some interesting details for shots as well as the grand overview.

Serene gardens
Jun 2019
This serene, gorgeous garden is both an exquisite terrance/hanging garden, as well as a Shrine to the Bab (the Bab is the Founder of the Baha'i Faith). It's welcoming and calm, and a wonderful break from the city's bustle. It's perched on Mount Carmel and affords you a beautiful view of Haifa leading down to the Mediterranean.

Haifa's main attraction, esthetic gardens, views and culture.
Feb 2020
Spread along the carmel slopes all the way from carmel center heights to the german colony in downtown haifa, the bahai gardens with their golden dome in the middle are the city number 1 sight and a must for visitors.
The gardens have 2 parts. The top one begins at the Louis promenade on yefe nof street where free guided tours in different languages depart frequently- you can go down only with a tour- and ends at the golden dome temple on Hazionut avenue.
The lower part cannot be walked but you can go inside on the lower entrance- the german colony- for a viewing/photos session.
The gardens are beautiful with sweeping views of haifa bay but you should remember its a holy place where smoking, eating and loud talking are prohibited.
