Just a beautiful site!! Went with the whole family - ages 8 to 20. Perhaps the 8 year old didn't appreciate it as much. Looked online in advance and showed up 15 minutes early for an English tour on Yefe Nof street. This already give you access to the Louis Promenade, so it's good to come a few minutes early.... It's really better to enjoy from far away, as it looks great, you can make perfect photos But if you try to enter, you can face some problems. They never open the whole territory, from time to time they open top middle or bottom gates. Everywhere you'll get tons of instructions how to behave in this place (not run, not... More

Stunning views of the city and the harbor, Gardens are beautiful. On your own, you have very limited access to the 17 levels of the garden. Check the schedule to see when the tours are - as well as any Bahai holidays which might close the gardens.

After 8 days of traveling in this crazy, weird, aggressive, rude, violent country, I finally found my sanity here and ended up spending hours on end in various ways, befriending the wonderful volunteers and meditating inside the Shrine. This is a perfect oasis in this country. One suggestion for the organizers is that the English tour at 12 noon does... More

But not worth staying in Haifa for. Very little of the garden is open to the public and as the underground is currently not working, it's very inconvenient to get to the various entrances.

A must do. We were with a Tauck tour but the entrance is free. You can only enter at the top and can only walk down. Once you enter you have to complete the 600+ steps to the shrine. You are also able to complete an additional 600 steps down to the town level. Gardens are beautiful.

The view from Mount Carmel over the city of Haifa and the gardens of Bahai is one of the most beautiful sceneries you can see on the way from Tel Aviv to Akko. It is well worthwhile a stop and a visit both for its beauty and its historical and biblical relevance.

Nicely manicured gardens. Located high up on the hill, the grounds afford a spectacular view. We walked down the two staircases off the street, that was enough time to take in and appreciate the view. Free clean restrooms to the left and on the opposite side of the street after leaving the stairs. Enjoy.
