There was really hot (although it was February) so take a lot of water. At the end of the park there is a Lake, the giftshop and the restaurant. AND, it also has some of the most importantly archeological finds in the Middle East. The birthplace of copper making in the Middle East. Cliff art from 3,000 years ago. And stunning natural beauty that changes from one moment to the next. Constantly stopping and staring at the beauty. Give yourself at least 5 - 6 hours to fully enjoy this visit. We booked a trip to this amazing park. Very much to see and explore. Yet one day was not enough. Staff were very helpful.

Beautiful park with incredible views. This is definitely a place to stop by when traveling through the Negev desert. Make sure to have a good bit of water.

We booked two nights in the Marva Tent for three adults. We hiked the park for two days, and were impressed with the history of the site and with its significance for the Bronze Age and the Ancient Egyptian Kingdom. I would strongly recommend a visit and a stay in this gem of a park.

Timna Park is hauntingly beautiful. The stark landscape is almost a meditative experience in how to commune with nature - it's sand and sky in constant contact. There are opportunities for hiking and biking, and there are important archaeological excavations in the area. Great day! We took bus 22 to the Timna Tourist Center and then rode the whole park on electric bikes. It was an amazing adventure! Увы. Последний раз были там около года назад. Электровелосипедов( равно просто велосипедов ) не было.
Насколько этот вид транспорта удобен в Тимне, трудно судить. Местность холмистая, расстояние, чтобы посмотреть весь маршрут, не менее 15-20 км. ( честно, не засекал).
При таком варианте посещения следует учесть, что летом жара может доходить до 40 град. И выше, а зимой есть вероятность сильного ветра и дождей( причём не шуточных).
В принципе у парка есть сайт, на нем конечно есть телефон. Можно уточнить, Какова ситуация на сегодняшний день.

We are driving from eilat. My wife is afraid of heights especially steep drop offs while driving. Are there huge mountains to drive over and are their near death drop offs on the way. (she freaked out at grand tetons and Yosemite)

I am driving to Timnah with 4 others. We have a national park pass. I understand tabernacle tickets cost 20 nis each.
Where do we get tickets for the tabernacle?
If we arrive when the park opens can we go right to the tabernacle or are their specific appointments made when you buy the tabernacle ticket?

Hi! I think you can get them from the Visitor’s shop. You can not miss it, it’s a huge parking and you can not enter into the park without validate the ticket/s.
At the Visitor’s center you have a coffe shop, desks, you can see a short movie about the park and after you can start your trip.
We bought a trip (Eilat - Timna Park) and our guide did all the procedures for us...
