Take your car, cruise around the park listening to some music. Park it and go for a shorter hike (don't forget to bring a hat and loooads of water - it gets hot even in off-season, and there isn't much shade there). Such a quiet and beautiful place! Definitely a must see when you are in southern district. Accesible for... More

Really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and breathtaking views. For me it was the best part of our holidays. I wish we would have more time to explore that place. It´s a must see when in/near Eilat.

The video shown close to the entrance is excellent. The explanations about ancient copper mining and extracting the metal from the ore were very interesting and well done. There is a lot of potential in Timna Park, but much more development is needed. We found some trails leading to featured sites to be poorly marked with nothing more than an... More

Came for a short visit on our way back from Eilat to the center. Huge part with lots to see with many hikes and bike trails. The movie at the beginning was nice to get a history of the place and it's only about 10 minutes long so I recommend it. Need to have a car to get around the... More

An excellent day out had by all. Beautiful scenery and breathtaking views. My tip would be that if it's your first time there, as it was ours, do it by car in order to cover all the main locations.

I never imagined that scenery, so close to Eilat, could be so magnificent. The staff in the park is very friendly and helpful. You must bring your camera, and even the best photographer can not do justice to the beauty of the area with a photo. Make sure to bring plenty of water with you especially in the hot weather.... Timna Park is a must for Bible students. Located in the park is a replica of the Tabernacle. The tour of the Tabernacle is educational and worth the visit The copper mines are exciting for young people. I was amazed at the amount of copper scattered around the mines.

Great national park with fantastic hiking routes. The rocks, the colors and the shapes. With a full day visit. What stroke me though was that the whole thing is little too 'Disney'ized' - with pedaling boats, a luxury restaurant annex 'camp'ground and touring cars driving around. Nevertheless worth a visit.
