Incredible shopping experience, gifts are second to none, the factory is right on site and the Bassam is truly outstanding. After looking around, I was able to describe what I was looking for and received personalized assistance for all the gifts I wanted. The gifts arrived to the US, in perfect condition, well packed, timely and exceeded my expectations when I didn't think that was possible. There are a number of factories in and around Bethlehem where you can see olive wood being carved, most of which are attached to shops where they are more than willing to reduce the marked prices drastically before you even ask. To visit a handicraft center where you can see the artisans working is always interesting. Apart from the factory and the shop, probably the most interesting thing is to go upstairs to the terrace from where you get an incredible panoramic view.
