Apparently they "flushed" it using a constant stream of water that ran in a trench under the seats. No partitions, not very private!

There are two interesting facts i discovered. first that these toilets were places where people would socialise and gossip. And second that it was common practise for the master to send his servent to warm up toilet seats for him before he sat on it.

This is a saying for our guide Nizam OMG. Public toilet for 40 persons sitting adjacent to each other. Marble makes flow water cool in the summer but freezing in the winter.

How can one even imagine it today? You really have to see it to believe it how the ancient people were so creative to make sure this would work in everyway it could.
