This is the museum for whom wishing to learn and feel antique ages and ottoman ethnographic history briefly and quickly. Very good place to spend around 3 hours with the kids and foreign guests. Thanks to the ones who contributed to prepare this place.

It's seems very far away, but if you take the metro to Haciosman and the the #25 bus which drops you off in front of the museum, it's very easy. They have a small but well cultivated collection. Don't miss the fez blocker and Ottoman...More

Wonderful museum, cheap ticket price, and nice cruise to get there on Bosphorus, from Eminonu to Sariyer. It has, among other things, an amazing collections of clothes, from the otoman period.

We were there this July and could hardly bring ourselves to leave with our group tour. We could have spent another hour, at least, in this handsomely arranged collection of ancient stone and ceramic objects.
