Luxurious interior, the actual hammam is all marble. Don't forget it dates back centuries ago. Prepare for a luscious session that will make you feel like a sultan! After the hammam you are directed to an area in which you are served tea and turkish delights, and where you can rest in your robe before leaving. Excellent service

The personalised service was excellent, and the ancient architecture was stunning. The price is aimed at tourists, but the environment is second to none.

Wow! Excellent Hammam experience! Loved the building as it was built around 1500's! Service was good and price was good as well! I opted for a 90 min Hammam including massage session, which was wonderful! Hammam experience is something which is not to be missed! If i visit Istanbul i will certainly will visit this hammam again!

I have had spa/massage /hamam experiences elsewhere and this was, by far, the best and most relaxing experience. It is unique, nice looking and the service was excellent. I got reflexology one evening (not a foot massage as some other places call reflexology ) and a hamam package the next afternoon. If you've never experienced a hamam, you are basically... More

We had an once in a lifetime experience at this turkish bath. The atmosphere, the professionalism and the process was well worth what we paid. We did the bath with body clay mask and massage - we are still talking about it. Truly left relaxed and felt like a sultan.

This is expensive. It's about 80 euros for the basic package (which is a fair bit of coin in my book). But it's totally worth it. Both myself and my wife did it (separately - you enter from different ends of the Hamman. It's much nicer and more organised that other Hamman I've been to, and it was nice that... More

Situated between blue mosque and Aya sofya, this is the best hamam in Istanbul. Its priced high and you can get more details of the same from their website. Hamam is truly a special experience and this place just takes it to the next level. Go hear and experience magic. Separate spaces for men and women.

One of the best Hammam experiences I ever had. Excellent welcoming experience. Clean, peaceful not so crowded. Highly recommended.

This is my first time in Turkey and the first time visiting a traditional Hamam. I had a few reservations not really knowing what to expect but decided to just go with it. I was greeted my Mardy who was very gracious, explained all of the options and got me setup for my appointment. Upon entering the inside is gorgeous... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
