This palace was built in the mid 1800s to replace an earlier structure that was made of wood. The new palace incorporated sixteen separate buildings with stables, a flour mill and a clock tower among them.

You cannot see this palace on your own. You will be taken in a guided tour once you are inside. The chandeliar given by queen Victoria and the crystal staircase with baccarat crystal banisters and the sultans hamam are just amazing.

In Istambul you must go there because! You can see a little bit of the luxury life of the sultans and their families. Be there as ealrier as you can to avoid queues.
