Rustem Pasa Mosque is one of the best mosques in Istanbul. The mosque is famous with the tiles. Most of the tourists come to this mosque to see the beautiful tiles.

Rustem Pasha Mosque is currently under renovation. The entire interior is covered in plywood/sheet rock and no tiles are visible. You literally walk into a giant room of sheetrock. I do not recommend visiting at this point in time, as there is nothing to see.

It is a must if you are visiting İstanbul. Spectacular İznik ceramics are covering the walls of the mosque as well as miniature but outstanding architecture. Stanning!
