We study the trip in advance even though we know the city well. There are 20 mm people and it covers a vast area. The Bosporus is a good spine around which to organize your trip.

The best way to see the strait is by taking the ferry ride. Very scenic! The blue pristine waters despite the high traffic area of cargo ships that use the strait to navigate the other European waters. Ferry operators also offer dinner cruises.

We done this place by ourselves with our captain. The tour was great and highly enjoyable, the price was affordable. Ended our tour with beautiful and nice sunset at Bosphorus strait.

Had a dinner cruise which brought us along the long Bosphorus Strait. Saw fireworks along the coast as we glide along.

You do not need to rent a private boat. Just use the public ferry (Sehir Hatlari) or there are some private ferries as well. Price should be 15-20 TL per head.
