Absolutely loved this Show. We went on a Wednesday evening so it was quiet and we got a table at the front to see the Show. Starter was lovely and the main course (chicken) was a bit rubbery but all done professionally. Our only disappointment was that Didem wasn't performing and that was primarily who we had gone to see.... More

We went to sultana for a belly dance show. Initially we were disappointed with the dancerd because we expected better but that opinion changed when didem came on stage. She was perfect and danced beautifully. The belly dancer who came after didem was very good and had a lovely smile. Best belly dance I've ever seen

If you are a fan of bellydance this is not the show for you. I was recommended her by a friend and I had heard of didem and watched her on you tube so I had to see tnis. It was meant to be the highlight of my stay. What a disappointment! I booked online for dinner and show. The... More

We wanted to see Turkish dancing (not just bellydance but also folkloric), and upon seeing it's a fixed price menu came to the decision that it would probably be 'rubber chicken' but we weren't going for the food. Reservations and Price: As we were staying right across the street in the Konak Hotel (see review on that), we simply walked... More

We were cruising on the Celebrity Reflection and coordinated a night out with 25 other cruise critic companions. I was able to coordinate with Sultana's quite easy and they always responded quickly and answered every question. Since we had more then 13 people they picked us up at the port and gave us a good value for our money. There... More

Do book directly from their website as their price is fixed and is included for hotel pick up. They are very efficient and no extra charges. My first time booking online with them was a bit apprehensive but was immediately assured that they are not the fly by night kind of place. EURO 60 for fixed menu, is ok for... More

We went to Sultana on our last day in Istanbul in December as it was highly recommended by the receptionist at the hotel. The food is ok but it would be great if there is meal which is more suitable for kids. The belly dancing show was interesting and worth the money. We were very proud when the staff go... More

I'm not sure what I was expecting with this but it was super cheesy and a bit weird, some of the dancers clearly couldn't be bothered and were talking amongst themselves during the show. They were also 40 mins late to pick us up from our hotel. The dinner itself was ok, although it was not 5 courses as advertised,... More

I wasn't terribly disappointed by the experience but it also wasn't a must-see show. The belly dancers were talented and the show was pretty long so it's not like you get short-changed on entertainment. That said, the show is pretty cheesy. That doesn't mean that it can't be fun though. Much of the experience is dependent on the other people... More

The shuttle bus picked us up in front of the hotel, and we enjoyed the ride to Taksim as many other tourists were picked along the way, up and down the Sultanahment narrow streets, which was real fun. The show was interesting, and the atmosphere was very cheerful. The food could have been better, but the show is worth the... More

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
