Great views at the city. Old facilities, restaurant is awful. No photo allowed even with telephone (you should leave it downstairs).

This impressive tower is certainly very tall, but you can only visit to 100m, i.e. 1/3 of the way up. Plus, you cannot take photos as phones and camera have to be left at the bottom. Once up, I was surprised at how little there...More

The staff is super nice, but there is not much to see, at least at night. There is a plov centre around where they are supposed to have the best plov in Tashkent, so maybe you can try that instead. ;)

We observed the tower as part of our Tashkent city tour. I was surprised to see Tashkent with such modern and impressive structures. The city is ultra clean and neat with nanicured gardens and water canals

When you go through the entrance doors you quickly realise that they do NOT allow Cameras or Mobile Phones to be taken up in the lift to the viewing platform! They are securely locked up in a metal luggage box and you get the key....More

We were told that entry used to be free for the revolving restaurant, but that the food was so dreadful that no-one went. So, they decided to charge..a whacking $15. dollars per person.But in Sum only. However, we went, to get the great amazing views....More

This TV tower is not worth visiting unless you are hell bent on going to the observation deck. And you can't take any pictures. Suggest you walk around the park just opposite to the tower, That should do.

Visiting the Tashkent TV tower is good only for open minded people. Because it is truly strict. A resious verificaion at the entrance (passport required) and no permission for taking photos while on the top. But you will have a beautiful view and a nice...More
