Nice architecture as a must see, he was the lawyer but interesting in architectural, he was very famous and a lot of his work/ designed building widely seen in Colombo. There also accommodation available but always fully book because only 1 suite.

It was a pleasure to be able to visit Geoffrey Bawa’s house and be able to gain an insight into his home and way of life. A remarkable, innovative and highly talented person. An absolute “must” visit when visiting Colombo.

The beautifully designed house by Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa is certainly worth a look. It is so cleverly laid out to catch the breezes and maintains a lightness about it in every room. The thoughtful placement of objects and the artefacts there are lovely.
