Had dinner with 5 friends. The food was very good. Value for money. The mixed grill was excellent, value for money at Rs.1080. The fish & chips were enjoyed by my friends. The atmosphere was good . Loved the cricketing momentos & souvenirs. Service was friendly & efficient. The only gripe was that even the local beer was too expensive.

This place reeks of British occupation, except the guests are not of all nationalities including Sri Lankan and young and old.The walls are covered with cricket memorabilia from bats to pullovers and photos galore and old tv replays. The food is excellent and well presented and the staff sweet (all male). It's good to see young trainee staff on the... More

Spur of the moment decision to go out for dinner. 3 couples from Australia. Food very good and as my husband used to play cricket and follows international cricket avidly, he was thrilled with all the cricketing history on show. Worth a visit for international travellers who have a liking of cricket v

I can say good try but miserbly failed at this concept outside the salsa.. It is one of my favorite exican dishhed but this was no where near it and left me not liking it. The sauce is mre of a spaghetti sauce taste than mexican ingredients used to cook the beef with. I am unsure of the Nachos because... More

We just love the place. The colonial charm and the character is very nice. There are tables outside in the garden, inside with a welcoming aircon and the bar-area. We had almost all our meals there. The service is very good and the meals are excellent!! They are quite busy. To secure a table remember to make a reservation. Great... More

We were recommended the cricket club by our hotel 'drift bnb'. Yes, for Sri Lanka, it may be classed as expensive, however in regards to UK/European prices it is completely reasonable. As a cricket fan, I enjoyed looking at the various bits of memorabilia in the bar, which included recent pieces such as the 2012 barmy army England t-shirt. In... More
