The Colombo National Museum is a treasure worth visiting. Allow enough time if you like history. 2 stories of treasures about Sri Lanka. The National Museum houses 4,000 palm leaf manuscripts, coins, guns and weapons, art and the history of early man. Worth a visit.

The entrance fee in the museum is 600 srilanka rupees for the foreigners. For srilankans it's very cheap I think 100 only. The rate for camera is 250 separate.
