Not a bad market but if you have never been to one of these, then it will be an eye opener. The "grocery" area which includes live animals such as chicken, fish, shrimp and others, may smell a bit strong. The food area has interesting stuff but if you are not use to street food yet, then take it slowly.... More

Central market is one of the well-known landmarks in PP. The French architecture of the building is amazing and the market is worth exploring. There are many goods sold here, but the price is away expensive than other places. If you are looking to shop for souvenirs and other goods, I would recommend the Russian market instead.

This market is beautiful even though there is not to much to buy for tourists. But the building is great and the flower corner so colorful. Worth a visit

This is wet/dry market building design is historical and underwent complete renovation few years ago. A must visit for first time tourist to Phnom Penh. The place sell a bit of everything , from real gold to fake gem stones, cheap clothing, daily foodstuff and hawkers food. Haggle for price is a norm. Only pay what you think is worth... More

The Central Market is located in downtown Phnom Penh, about a 5 minute motorbike ride west of the riverside. If you're staying by the river, it shoudn't cost more than $2 via TuK Tuk. If you rented a bike, five minutes to get there. The central market is comprised of two parts, the outer ring of sidewalk shops and the... More

The Central Market is a place to find just about everything, from a cheap Tshirt to a pair of pants or shorts, a great range of sunglasses jewelery and watches, and a fair range of electronics all at a great price, if you can haggle that is, never pay the upfront price a good haggle is expected, the only warning...
