In the evening when it's cooler this is a nice walk along the river. You can find things to eat and generally just wander along taking everything in

We walked along the Mekong on the Sisowath Quay one evening and enjoyed a delightful sunset. Lots of families, monks, some beggars & toy + food stalls.

This would be amazing apart from the piles of stinking rubbish that are absolutely everywhere. Watcing the people on the river in their boats is a peek into a totally different way of life but my goodness the rubbish is horrendous.

Scenery is nice in the evening overlooking the Mekong river. There are rows of shops right opposite for shopping and food.
