The mosque is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, I didnt have any guide with me and as there weren't English signs or explnation I didn't know where to go or what I am looking at. It would help so much...More

A large mosque, surrounded by beautiful gardens and fountains. A great place to pray for Muslims, all the facilities seem very new & polished. And, both the exterior and interior have stunning Islamic architecture.

A trip to Brunei is never complete without a visit to this grand masjid. Amazing designs inside and out, it gives a wide understanding of islamic designs and its influence in this muslim country.

I found this mosque to be more beautiful than the newer Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque. Photography inside is not permitted. And, all etiquettes for visiting a Mosque apply to here too.

This is an impressively large mosque and much more elaborate than the pretty mosque downtown. They have robes for tourists that aren't dressed appropriately. Tourists are only allowed to go 10 feet inside the main door but that's fine as inside is just one, big,...More

Pretty big mosque as compared to the Omar Ali Saifuddin. More elaborate in design and felt more like a functional mosque. More restrictive visiting hours here so better to check up before visiting. Near gadong market and mall.

Considered one of the most biggest mosques in Brunei, built by the sultan. As for non muslims you need to wear long pants (as well as other mosques) to be able to enter.

I took a bus to Bandar and ended up at the mosque. You will need to wear long pants if you wish to get inside. Or you can have one of their baju kurong available at the entrance.

It is a really impressive mosque built by a current Sultan. Not much to see inside if you're not Muslim, but you can do it for free and the staff will rent you something to cover if your clothes are not appropriate.

If you come in the above mentioned clothes, you can borrow clothing at the mosque to ensure you are appropriately covered.
