Not much I can say... the building is iconic ans modern and set in large green gardens. However on the day I went, the building was closed so i couldn't see more.

It's a first modern building in this country..... If you get chance to see this establishment, don't miss it. Front side and back side both are very fantastic views. There is an excellent lake beside "Zia Uddan" . Everyday so many people visited this place for mantelpiece and refreshment.

Bangladesh's ancient monuments haven't aged well, for obvious climatic reasons, and lack of durable materials, so the lover of antiquities may feel a bit frustrated here. But the modern site of the parliament building is well worth visiting as a complete contrast - a solid, tall building, sternly unadorned, deceptively simple in appearance but with a complex design, which in... For seating with friends near the place & having some tea, chanachur muri makha, chotpoti this place is good. Sometimes family groups & group of friends visit the place for seating near the Parliament. But be sure u can't go closer to the Parliament as it is Security Issue & This is The National Parliament of Bangladesh.

Architectural beauty in Dhaka. This building is Parliament so restricted. Long view is ok.situated at the center of the city so to reach here you won't get much trouble. Many national event is started from this venue.

This is one of the most precious ones designed by the famous architect Louis Kahn. This building along with the park and lake behind it is an amazingly beautiful place to visit. It's a shame that, they have put some grills for security - thus hindering the view a bit.
