Get off the tourist trail and dive into the real Ho Chi Minh City, home of the world's best street food. All Saigon Street Eats groups are small because we want you to feel like you're hanging out with friends. We offer three food-focused tours - the Pho Trail, the Seafood Trail and Street Food 101 (an introduction to street food). We are the only tour outfit in town offering Pasteur Street craft beer on our evening tours. Bear in mind our tours aren't for everyone. They are designed people like us -- people who don't usually do tours, people who want to experience local life and people who love to explore a culture through its food by eating where the locals eat.

Cannot praise this tour highly enough! Ben our guide was second to none! So informative, friendly and engaging. The food was such a highlight. Places we would never have found ourselves, let alone be game to even try. Not once did I feel unsafe as a passenger on the back of the bike. Every dish served was delicious and fresh.

This tour was very "professional" - I mean Vu told lots of things about Vietnamese life before and after the war and the history overall. He took us to 4-5 different places and we got to taste really delicious and different foods, places we would never go without guidance. He also told us what not to eat and especially WHERE.... More

From the exciting scooter ride (and return) to the different restaurants and the tour guide and staff it was an excellent evening out. Without doubt the staff and Vu the guide made it. He / they looked after us from start to finish. Vu has exceptional knowledge, great English and a great sense of humour. If I am in Saigon... More

Our travel agent booked a private tour for us with Saigon Street Eats, and it was the best thing we've ever done in Saigon, bar none. Our guide was Vu, who is one of the owners. He speaks excellent English and has a wicked sense of humor, sarcasm included. We walked to some places and took taxis to others. We... More

I took this tour based on all the great review and being a seafood lover I had to try this tour. I have to say every single dish we tried was amazing. The tour guide spoke amazing English as his wife is Australian. It is great to hear all the interesting stories. This tour will take you to where the... More

Awesome tour with 10 other ladies through the streets of Saigon. The pho was amazing, just what we needed after a long flight the night before. Vu was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and fun at the same time. All our guides were great and the food was plentiful and delicious. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting... We enjoyed an amazing tour with Vu as he showcased some of Saigon's hidden secrets- from Banh Xeo to Free Range Chicken Salad, we enjoyed it all. We took the tour with our two kids and shared several hours with our guides and another family from Israel. Food was superb. Anecdotes very interesting! Felt safe, informed and much wiser at... Zooming through peak hour traffic on the back of a scooter was the most fun I've ever had. A bit scary at first but when you realise everyone on the road knows what they are doing and are courteous (no road rage here!) then you can relax and enjoy the experience. Our food guide was Binh (hope that's right) -... More

We did the night tour with Vu (not sure about name spelling) the owner. Started in a tough neigbourhood in area 3 of Saigon. Visited 5 restaurants using a taxi (our 8 year old girl did not want the motorbike). Vu was very knowledgeable sround food and culture. Food was very tasty and unique - we are long time foodies... From the start of this experience to the end everything was much enjoyed, the scooter ride through peak hour traffic was exhilarating. The food and restaurant stops were authentic, very typical of the area and delicious . Binh was a very engaging and informative host. Would most definitely recommend
