Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A beautiful building and working post office. You can buy a postcard and send it back to your home country for a low price.

Was surprised by how many shops were also in the historical building. Later we could kick ourselves for not buying some things and used our experience to measure prices elsewhere.

The post office was built in 19th century by French. This was beautiful architecture in Saigon. Inside, many stores for souvenir. Nice to see.

The Central Post Office is not a long visit...about 10 minutes is all you'll need. The outside of the building is beautifully ornate and is surprising open on the inside. The tile work on the floor is beautiful and the maps on the wall are interesting in their depictions. A quick glimpse is really all you need.

While Ho Chi Minh City may not be a place full of tourist attractions, its central post office is certainly the most remarkable one. The intact colonial building is a legacy of French Saigon with huge historic city and area maps. The encompassing portrait of Uncle Ho brings visitors back to present. Quite an interesting choice to meander around.

Yes it’s famous , yes lots of tourists visit there - a nice architectural hall that is pleasant to eyes, not worth more than 10 min spending here.
We bought some magnets and postcards here- reasonable price

This is a place to have a look at when in the area but I would not make a special journey. There are some souvenir shops here but prices seemed high.

It was looking beautiful from outside and was even more fascinating from inside. First look make it appear like some European railway station. Have good choices to buy memorabilia.

Beautiful building from the French occupation era. Lots of souvenirs inside. If you are in this part of Ho Chi Minh, worth a quick visit.

The actual post office building is beautiful and steeped in history. Visiting here was a definite highlight walking ourselves around HCMC. The only disadvantage were the surrounding hawkers who harassed us to buy stuff....all the same stuff you see everywhere. Unfortunately one of them cracked a coconut open, handed it to me and then demanded 150 000 VND for it. Had no choice but to pay as he got very angry at us. The authorities need to crack down on this. When vendors refuse to put prices on their wears, be warned that their intentions are not honest. Had the same.problemnatvthe market.
