You can basically entertain yourself and find pretty much a lot of what you need around here. From food, drinks, convenience stores, massage joints, bars and more!

we rented 7 tricyles and saw the city this way . It was organized chaos through the streets but we had a chance to really take in the culture and the views. The smog is quite dense in the city, now i know why they cover their faces. We would take breaks and walk through the narrows alleys that displayed... More

Like other reviewers, I agree there are a lot of travel agents on this street -- which I would try to avoid if possible. (I've been ripped off by way too many equivalent agents elsewhere in SE Asia.) There are plenty of coffee shops and hotels, as well. We're staying in an alley right off this street, and it's quiet... More

But beware, avoid SEGA TOURS travel agency next to Dragon palace hotel !! cheats the tourists by selling water puppet show at 150 % profit. Actual price of the ticket is 200000 VD, but this tour agency... More

i haven't seen any backpacker area that is so irrelevant to the city that it's in. the bars and cafes are of lowest quality, lots of traffic and noise everywhere with no space to breath. it's kind of a slum of it's own. i wouldn't enjoy this area even if i was in my 20s. it's somewhat okay in the... Perhaps, this chaotic street is one of a few places in Ho Chi Minh City that still keeps reminiscence of old Saigon. The rest of Ho Chi Minh City has transformed itself very quickly beyond the reach of backpackers. Frankly, nothing special in terms of dining experience or staying experience in this street. But the chaos with a certain sense... More
