The Museum from outside looks impressive but when you get in it looks like it's been forgotten. I love museums and was a bit disappointed to see no consistent timeline of events or more information about the country or city. Still nice to see a bit of history but all seemed lost.

This museum featured on our tour of the City. Nice gardens with small display of weaponry from the war with the USA. Building houses some interesting items of historical significance to the country, a somewhat one sided viewpoint at times but it reinforced my historical knowledge garnished from the many books read covering Somme 200 years of recent Vietnam history.... The place itself looks neglected which makes you wonder what's in store. Then you start reading the history. Wow! It appears that they have fought hard and long to maintain their country as their own.

Some interesting artifacts and nice gardens. Some american weaponry including a tank, hue helicopter and aircraft taken and used by the vietnamese during the war. Can also go down into underground bunker. Worth a visit.

Housed in a beautiful but somewhat rundown building the museum has varied exhibits including Vietnamese history, modern industry, currency, costume and geography. A good general overview of Vietnam for a local or visitor. Very popular for wedding photos so expect to see a few photo shoots. Only 15000 VND entry.

Not a lot to see inside the building. Even it is very beautiful colonial architecture in a good location in Dist 1. Walking pass to take picture but not recommend for a visit
