I visited this place as I love history museums. I was touched that they gave me a brochure in my native language (French) and they also provided a short documentary (15 minutes) in French. The staff speaks English, which shows their desire to reach out...More

This was a very interesting tour. A bit out of the way but worth the visit. Afterwards you can buy different types of teas and other herbal products.

There is absolutely nothing to learn here. You just walk five stories to see ancient pots used to store medicine. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

It's 3.3 km from Ben Thanh market so you can catch a taxi, the total price is $2. Last time, my local friend drove and took me there. You can use Google Map to navigate the shortest route by bus.

The free guided tour takes 30 minutes, although ours was a little longer to include some questions and answers, and photo taking. All in all we spent about an hour and a half here.

How do I get a guide to help me tour this place and explain the exhibits? Does it come with the purchase of the tickets at the door? If yes, what are the tour timings? Or do I have to email them to arrange for a guide beforehand?
