We travelled as a family of four kids aged 6 and 3, both loved the water puppets (as did the parents). The show was short enough to keep them entertained and it was value for money, Watch put for fake taxi's outside after the show,...More

The place was old and authentic. We asked our hotel to book our tickets (lucky we did that, else the view wouldn’t be so clear if we were to sit at the back). We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. All the performers were really talented. The water...More

It's a popular water puppet in the world. The seat is stick to each other, so the view is bad. You must find the gap between the heads of two people in front of you. The show is vietnamese sound so you may be not...More

We booked our tickets through the sinh tourist. The whole show is in another language but that's not matter as we are here to experience the culture anyway you are given a brochure which tells you in English what each of the shows names are...More

This is an authentic Vietnamese puppet show. They invented this technique when the villages got flooded in the rainy season and this was their entertainment. Amazing technique and amazing puppet control. Very entertaining to watch. Just under an hour long. Don't sit in the front...More

Honestly brilliant, I wasn’t sure this was going to be very good but we loved it. At 30ish years old I didn’t think this would be that entertaining but it was... great music, lovely people and very different way of doing a show. Grab a...More

Something everyone visiting Vietnam should see. A bit overpriced (especially for locals) but fun. Just don't expect too much.

This is a cozier venue compared to the one in Hanoi. It is unadulterated pure fun! I love the singer: she has the most melodious voice. My hats to the actors who managed the puppets from knee-deep water!!! It is within walking distance from Ben...More

A unique show that is kept lively the whole time. Very colorful and musical. I couldn't follow the show, but it's interesting to see all the different displays of culture and history. I reckon the younger kids would really enjoy it.

Lasts maybe a bit less than an hour. Probably cheap enough that you could leave early if the child gets bored. About $US7 or £UK5. Enjoy if you go, try and get seats near the front for best view.
