It was ok. I wasn’t overly thrilled. There was a lot of hype leading up to seeing this which is probably why I was a bit disappointed.

Stopped by the water puppet theatre with my parents to catch the next show. Tickets were decently priced. Water puppet show was great and traditional music was played live by Vietnamese musicans on the stage. Definitely a must see if you're visiting Hanoi!
It is 100k each person, we went here because we know water puppets have a long history in Chinese/Vietnamese culture. The whole thing is spoken in Vietnamese, it has funny parts but it just wasn’t for us. This place is definitely more for Asian tourists...More

A wonderful introduction to Vietnamese culture. Very affordable and only about an hour long show. Included amazingly artistic puppetry presented in a lighthearted manner. The traditional folk musicians were incredible and really added to the beauty of the show.
