We had a motorbike ride going around West Lake. There is nothing too interesting to do in this site but I like the peaceful and romantic scenery of this lake, specially its fresh scenery in the morning. We also found out some stalls selling street...More

Don't expect too much from this. I went looking for the lotus flowers and I was clearly in the wrong spot. It's nice and a great place to stay apparently but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there

Now surrounded by houses and condominium for rich people and expatriates, the west lake, when night arrives, is one of the spot of Hanoi preferred by lovers. Some restaurants around the lake propose good food.

Friday night they block traffic around the lake to allow the community to do their thing. You'll be surprised at the goings on that include a variety of street musicians, community involvement in a variety games and the ubiquitous salesperson.

Not a must see but the lake and view make a nice area to stroll with good places to stop for a refreshment.
