great place to people watch, do some shopping, drink cheap beer, and experience Hanoi's night life. The haggling game is real there and be sure to always assume you're being charged more if you're a foreigner.

Great fun to wander around the busy bustling streets, amazing food stalls. During the weekend some of the streets are closed along the lake. Amazing vibe to walk along and see all the various activities which are going on.

There's loads of places for a beer. There's a couple of places right on the lakeside and plenty of places overlooking the lake. Lots of cafes/bars/ restaurants around the streets.
