This museum would be my favourite art museum in Vietnam. (Although they are all quite individual but I do especially like this one). It houses the most outstanding Vietnamese art of all kinds, so many priceless and special pieces. The arts museum itself, as a...More

Fascinating collection of art from 300+ BC, right up to the 1980s. Went with my family that includes young children and they all enjoyed the exhibits here and the variety of art on display. A wonderful collection that covers a vast range - both in...More

The collection ranges from ancient to contemporary. The ancient pieces would be of especial interest to a viewer with an archeological focus. The complex history of Vietnam is reflected in the collection, including rural, minority, urban, religious and political inspiration. Personally, for me, the slightly...More

Worth a visit! An interesting and perfect size museum that shows art from early Vietnam to present time.

There were SO MANY paintings here. Downstairs where the sculptures and a variety of art are, it's really interesting but I just got bogged down in the end by TOO MANY paintings.

Has a few fine exhibitions but lacks a path through the museum. There is no audio guide and almost no explanations about the items. If you in the area take a look, otherwise dont bother.
