This night market on the edge of West Lake starts up around 2 a.m., when wholesalers arrive to claim their spots with piles of roses and chrysanthemums, and lasts until sunrise. Quang Ba is especially worth a visit during Tet, when flowers are needed for the many new year's celebrations.

If you want to see all the beautiful flowers of Vietnam this is a great place to visit. You won't see as much tourists because it is a bit outside of Hanoi center. Take bus 55 from Long Bien bus station that will take you in 15 minutes from of city center to the flower market. The early morning or... More

Authentic market, worth a visit if you are an early bird or as we did, when arriving by night train from Sapa at 04:30. Great opportunity to go there directly from the train. We had our own transport from the railway station. The market is bustling of people coming and going with flowers on motor bikes and cycles. People bargaining,... More

It's about halfway to the airport from the city center, but it's worth visiting this market if you or your significant others like flowers. Seemed like honest prices, nice vendors.

Had heard about the flower market and after seeing the flower vendors on cycles in the streets just had to visit the market. I was warned of I starting early but also wanted my full nights sleep so took a taxi from the hotel to reach the market around 6:00 AM. It was a riot of colors and flowers of... More

A special place for any flower lover. Some may not be able to brave the early mornings. If it does not appeal to you find where they sell arangements in the city.

A must visit market for flower lovers. Fresh flowers with all sorts of varieties. I just love them all. Most of the flowers sold are still in close buds. They last longer. Pick the lilies, orchids and daisies. They are just too pretty.

I work with Photo Journalist from Hanoi and we always visit the market on my visits to Hanoi. I take many pictures and the Vietnamese do not seem to mind. Early am 5 or 6 is best time to see the action.

It is very enjoyable if you come to this flower market at midnight. Surrounded by colors and nice smell, as well as locals wandering around with flowers or food. If you know Vietnamese or come with a local, you would understand how interesting the market operates every night. This place is not limited to buying cheap flowers, but a chance... More

Tha flower market is quite an experience.... Particularly just before the New Year. Vietnamese celebrate the Lunar New Year as a big family holiday, and tak flowers for decoration and gifts to Their family gathering. It,s a crazy time with whole families travelling on a single moped often in their best clothes, with big bunches of flowers. Recommend you walk... More

Fabulous flower market!! Vietnamese love flowers and the selection at this market is always great. Best to visit very early, when the market is most energized.
