About
Soi Dog Foundation is S.E. Asia’s largest rescue organisation for vulnerable street dogs and stray cats. For 19 years, supported by generous donations and global volunteers, SDF has worked tirelessly to reduce animal suffering through CNVR (Catch; Neuter; Vaccinate; Return) programmes. For animals unable to be returned safely to the streets, SDF provides sanctuary, as well as local and international adoption services. SDF is a haven where sick and vulnerable dogs and cats receive world-class medical care, and love. SDF is working in several countries to help end the inhumane and barbaric dog meat trade. Guided tours available Monday-Friday at 10:00am and 1:30pm. Following the 40-minute tour, visitors are encouraged to socialise with our lovely cats and dogs. Impromtu tours are not available between 11:30am and 1:00pm, although between these times, visitors are invited to socialise in the cattery or spend time in the visitor centre. Volunteers are welcome Monday to Friday from 9am.

A Truly Amazing Experience

I have been a supporter of Soi Dog for many years and as I was on Holiday in Phuket I could not miss the opportunity to visit them.
A lovely lady called Silvia gave us a tour of the facilities and told us all about the origins and the work done that is done there.
Our visit was amazing and it was truly wonderful to see the care and compassion the dedicated people who work and volunteer at Soi Dog show for all of the animals.
Everyone was very welcoming and the facilities for the animals are beyond anything we could have imagined, they even have therapy pools for them.
Meeting the dog and cat guests was an absolute pleasure and brought many a tear to the eye but you could see how well they are looked after.
If you are in Phuket please consider visiting, it is a truly humbling experience.
Well done and Thank You all at Soi Dog you are amazing people.

This was truly an outstanding experience with beautiful cats and dogs being look after by people that really cared. The Guides were all deeply knowledgeable and the conditions for animals and people was excellent. Highly Recommended first class.

I highly recommend visiting Soi Dog foundation when in Phuket and donating or volunteering your time. The work they do to look after Asias animals and educating locals is incredible. Sylvia our tour guide was lovely and very informative. We even got to spend time with the puppies and cats!

I am a volunteer, adopter,homechecker for adoptions in South East,sponsor for a dog, please visit and donate and volunteer, the dogs love walking and the cats love being stroked,this is the best rescue in South Asia.

SOI DOG IS WONDERFUL

We did stumble across soi dog when looking for attractions near our hotel, it was the last day of our wonderful trip in Thailand and Soi dog really did complete our holiday- it was so lovely to learn how this rescue started, we had a tour at 10am with Silvia she was so lovely and you could see the compassion, she really does love these animals! The amount of volunteers that help here is so humbling and just shows we have some amazing people in this world
We got to spend some time with the cats before the tour and it was so lovely, it does upset you as so many of these cats and dogs have been so mistreated and so many have missing limbs / eyes etc but without soi dog they wouldn’t be here
I am spreading the word now I am back home and would encourage everyone who’s looking at going to visit - just ensure you check opening times / tour times

Absolutely amazing experience that stays with you

What a wonderful sanctuary for dogs and cats. The dogs and cats needs are so thought out and taken care. My experience at the sanctuary was educational in a relaxing environment. The staff and volunteers are so dedicated to the animals in their care. I have been to many sanctuaries in the UK but this has to be my favourite. A must visit when in Thailand. The rewards from this visit are worthwhile, a fuzzy warmth goes with you when you see the care and love the animals receive.

Heaven on earth for cats and dogs.

Just a truly great experience with guides that are very knowledgeable and cats and dogs all very well looked after for life if needs be. They are walked and then can also swim this is just beautiful to watch. The grounds are well kept and very carefully maintained. Highly recommended you must go when ever you can. In the photo is just one of many puppies in Soi Dogs.

I am the biggest dog lover and this place was just amazing. It is mind blowing the amount of good work this organisation does. Seeing the dogs and puppies really pulls at the heart strings! There are some real sweeties here that we got to play with and pat. Highly recommend the trip out to Soi Dog :)
