I would not recommend this place when the weather is fine as I would then prefer any of Phuket’s beaches, markets or free attractions. However, should you have toddlers to entertain during inclement weather this attraction may get you through 30-60 minutes of entertaining. The...More
The aquarium is pretty small and not very versatile.
A new one is supposed to be opening this year at Phuket, hopefully it will be a better one.

Felt bad for fishes as the tanks looked stained with algae. All aquariums had similar lightening irrespective of different fishes and their habitat. Some fishes were too shy to come out and were scared when people passed by, esp. puffer fish was puffed in a...More

Kids liked it. Don't get all excited about the "show" though. There was a huge banner there (as of a few months ago) that advertised in exciting big red letters that there was a show a few times a day. This "show" was a 10-minute projection in an empty 20-person theatre, featuring a talking mermaid robot statue. But overall we found it a decent place to pass a rainy day. However, they do have dual pricing - where foreigners are charged a MUCH higher price.
