Literally meaning House of Gods, this is a beautiful museum of Chinese artifacts, depicting rich mythology. Supposedly constructed to commemorate the Thai king's birth anniversary. Time was short at hand but worth a visit.
I would urge anyone with a morning or afternoon to spare to visit this museum, particularly if you are fascinated by Chinese art and history. (I have a degree in Chinese studies, so I found it of great interest).

Worth a visit- very calming place. Entrance fee was a very cheap 50 baht each.
It's jam packed with bronze statues of Chinese characters and Buddhas and artefacts including a handful of the terracotta army pieces. Extraordinary Jade pagoda that must be priceless.
