Oddly I am writing a review for a holiday that I haven’t had due to the Coronavirus Crisis. I wanted to write a review to say just how amazing Michelle and her company Samui Explorer had been in helping select and arrange our tours and transportations for our short stay in Koh Samui plus then advising and helping with onward transportation and phone calls to a hotel in Koh Pangnan. I was so excited for the trip and tours then COVID19 struck and burst our bubble, we followed the GOVUK travel guidelines and then our friends wedding venue cancelled followed by non essential travel implementations for all flights. I messaged Michelle and she was nothing short of accommodating in refunding our monies despite facing her own enormous struggles with a collapsing tourism trade around her and dark times. A true professional and when the wedding is rebooked for 2021 we will rebook with Michelle and her amazing tours company- good luck to you and the team Michelle, we will see you all 2021 xx

We did the 4 wheel drive tour took us right up in to the hinterland, we stopped at Chilling Hill Bar great little place right up the top of the hinterland, had a lovely chat with the owner and cold drinks, unfortunately we didn't see the waterfalls as so dry they weren't flowing. We then went to Bridge cafe has great coffee and views, with a zipline and the kids had a go, the staff were great in assisting them, a thrill for them. We continued the trip to some view points then to Route 36 Jungle for lunch, again with amazing views and the mussaman curry was delicious. We then made our way back down with a short stop at Silver beach for a refreshing swim before dropping back at our hotel.
A great day out and seeing places you would not be able to access with out a 4wd vehicle.

We were in Samui during the pandemic of Covid which is an uncertain time for everyone. However, Samui Explorer especially Michelle who organises everything and Tok who was our driver made our stay on Samui so much more fun and relaxing. They accommodated any requests and were both consistently pleasant and professional.
I booked 3 tours over the period of time on Samui due to the professionalism and wide variety of tours provided by Samui Explorer.
We intend to visit Koh Samui in the future and we will be using Samui Explorer without a doubt.

Michelle was absolutely amazing to deal with in regards to organising tours. This is one of 3 tours we booked with Samui Explorer while we were staying on Koh Samui and the reasons are: 1. Because they are amazing with customer service 2. Their tours are fantastic and good value for money 3. The guides are honestly the best and most friendly people going.
This tour we had the pleasure of having Tocky as or guide (for the second time) he speaks wonderful English and appreciated our less than perfect Thai greetings! Our tour started with jungle tour through the high mountains and up to the 360 degree lookout. Then on to the hidden Buddha garden which was a real suprise! Then a short trip to the pier and onto piggy island!! We were served a filing and delicious Thai lunch on the beach. We then returned back to the mainland and Tokky took us back to our accommodation.

We initially booked just an airport transfer & the private 4x4 Off-road private tour through Samui Explorer, but we were so impressed with the service Michelle provided that we went on to book the Red Baron Yacht tour to Angthong Bay & the Dolphin Spotting & Island Hopping Speedboat Tour, as well as other hotel & airport transfers. I would recommend all 3 trips, but especially recommend booking through Samui Explorer. Michelle was quick to respond to messages and gave very good advice. She also made follow up calls to make sure we were happy with everything. A special mention also needs to go to Tokky, our 4x4 driver who was friendly, informative, helpful and had a great sense of humour. Thanks for everything & hopefully we’ll be back for more!

My husband and I went on the 4 X 4 tour of Koh Samui. We drove through the jungle up to the highest peak, saw 2 beautiful waterfalls, visited a secret Buddha garden, and ate at the Jungle Club. Great food and incredible views!!
Our driver really put forth an effort to share interesting facts about the sites and Koh Samui.

We booked a vip boat tour through Michelle at samui explorer to ko madsum and snorkelling. It exceeded all our expectations. The staff on the tour were so attentive, informative and friendly providing drinks and snacks throughout. It felt very safe which is always a worry when travelling with children, and which is why we booked through Michelle. Life jackets were provided and equipment for snorkelling. The captain and crew checked for jelly fish prior to us going in the sea and couldn't have been more helpful. Made our sons dream of snorkelling by a reef come true. Thanks to all involved. Would highly recommend.

Thank you F3895N for taking the time to write a review following the VIP speedboat snorkeling tour to Koh Madsum. As you experienced, paying that little bit extra for VIP makes a big difference, in the way the staff interacts and always ensures safety for their customers.

We had booked a couple tours for our spring break. Michelle was extremely helpful throughout the entire booking process. Unfortunately due to the Covid19 pandemic and the travel restrictions in place, we were unable to visit Koh Samui. Michelle was quick to refund us for our bookings. Excellent customer service and excellent company! We will definitely rebook our trip once this all passes and will definitely rebook our tours with Samui Explorer!

I had booked 2 airport transfers with Michelle. She responds very quicky and in great detail.
Unfortunatelly with the Coronavirus situation we had to cancel our trip.
We hope to come next year and without hesitation will only book with Michelle again.
She was a pleaure to work with and deserves the highest ratings for her great company.

Booked a 4x4 off road tour with Michelle from Samui Explorer. Well what can I say …. It was amazing !! We were picked up at the port by palm who was an amazing guide so friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to places we would never have been able to see without this trip. Waterfalls, temple, gardens,tried local fruit, explained about rubber trees. Had lunch at Mountain jungle restaurant which was delicious finishing at a lovely beech. Great communication with Michelle throughout. Thank you

As you experienced there is so much more to see hidden away in the hills that so many people miss out on. Cruise ship Passengers are limited to tour options via the ship, so it's always beneficial to contact a reputable Tour agent to arrange a super day on Koh Samui.
