That was a really interesting trip, all the statues, little houses, the small waterfall and the dzungel, it made me feel like i have travelled back in time. It was beautiful and our guide told us very interesting stories of the history of this garden. Felt like im in a adventure movie where im discovering a lost city. This place felt very mystical to me!

We got there by scooter but noticed that many were reaching this spot by pickup truck (marketed as ‘safari’). 80 BHT entrance fee per adult, kids get in free. Amazing artsy place. Take mosquito repellant.
On our way back, The front breaks got too hot and stopped working! We had no water to cool off the disk break, so we waited for 10 minutes. Be extra careful with this potential issue. Must visit though.

Hard drive up some steep roads but easy to find and GPS is accurate. I'm sure farrang are charged more than Thai but the lady selling tickets would not tell us prices individually. A lovely idea built by 1 man to create a peaceful rest area. Stone statues and Buddha's line a small streamed Waterfall. Great place to get family photo's. 30 minutes was enough to see all and enjoy the calm.

It is not an easy ride to approach the place but truly worth it. This is the rainy season so the whole place looks like that a former city would sink under a huge amount of water.
Of course be careful as moss is everywhere so the rocks are really slippery and use a good mosquito spray before entering ;)

On our journey across the island, we first arrived at the Mountain Jungle View Restaurant and then made a detour to the gardens. Entry costs 80 baht per person and good shoes are advisable. A steep staircase leads downhill into this small garden, which is well worth seeing, with its various interesting figures. The garden is partly overgrown.

Such a unique thing to visit! A must for anyone who loves exploring and seeing unusual/cultural things. The secret Buddha garden was quiet magical as I was the only person there and had the whole place to myself. It would have been nice to know abit more about it and some history and meanings of the statues, however I enjoyed the mystery around it still. The journey up there is not impossible on a scooter like lots of people state, the road itself is in good condition you just need to be a confident driver as it is steep in some places and not a quick drive up either, took about 15 minutes to get up from the main road still. The cost to visit is 80tbh, there are toilets and refreshments available

Its drive up into the mountains to the gardens so only accessible by car/scooter unless you are super hikers! We went mid afternoon and it was sooo busy so hard to get good photos and just take time to chill.
The statues are great but it wasnt as grand as i imagined.
I wouldnt say that its a MUST see but if you have time & want to see every tourist attraction then sure, pay a visit. Its 80baht entry fee & there is a cafe at the beginning.

A very good alternative to the beaches and a nature trail to enjoy the landscapes inland to get there. The garden is then picturesque, original and timeless enough to take a change of scenery for a fairly short and inexpensive visit!! Very good alternative to coastal tourism!!

A truely magical experience. Take a trip to another time and another world - beautiful scenery and well maintained grounds, statues & old school village/buildings. We drove a small car up the hillside - the roads are step and arrow in sections and can be a difficult/ sketchy drive - would recommend going with a tour or driver.

On top of a very small mountain or if you consider it a giant hill of Koh Samui.

Lies a small Secret Buhda Garden, mystical at first sight, as well something out of a classic adventure movie.

How to get to this amazing place is by going up up hill on some sketchy roads (Note: These roads are under construction as well, some sections range from new, old, and just gravel.)
If you uneasy for the trip up under these conditions, then I suggest do not make it.
Caution roads are very turns, as well hilly trust me this might make anyone nervous. Drive the speed limit!

But for me personally was worth the trip, the views driving up one of a kind as well the excitement!

Once you reach location, you will find a small parking lot as well a cafe/shop. For foreigners will cost only 80 Baht free for Thai maybe due to Covid.

As you walk down the hill you will get a rush of Adrenalin, and like an spooky feeling. Once you see the wonders down there it will just take your breath away, as you feel uneasy like stepping on holy grounds of sorts. But you see it’s been turned into a amusement park, so you get the feel that this holy soot was tarnished.

History: This place was just a normal water fall, and river. Created by a local fruit farmer who dreamed big, created this small park, and was completed 1976. But due to location, as well no one maintaining the location properly, has gained its eerie feel that what is known now.

Personally feel like there is something more to this location, so respect it like you would a temple. Truly a one of a kind marvel, for any adventurer to enjoy. Caution where you walk can get hurt from things falling apart. Worth the drive up, as crazy drive down.

From this spot you can actually go from one side of the island to the other. So plan your trip to do exactly this!

Be safe, and have fun at this amazing location!
