Good pubs and restaurants, and excellent for backpackers that want to walk along the beach or enjoy drinks. Not suitable for kids/swimming, then lamai or chaweng is far better.

Admittedly me and my partner visited at low season so it wasnt heaving In fact it was almost empty and we found a position right on the seas edge with rocks for shade. 90 degrees and more and the sea and beach were immaculate. It...More

It's not the main beach at Chaweng, but less crowded and noisy, with a good selection of bars and restaurants. The beach is safe for swimming and the high tide is especially great. Don't miss the coolers from the Beach Bar!

The beach provides swimming positions in a gentle surf and in relatively shallow water. Along the shore there are several rocks at the waters edge with excellent platforms for photographs, often giving the appearance is further out in the sea. High recommended visit

We were here two late afternoons/evenings and there were only several clusters of people doting the place. So it was perfect for us as we just wanted a quiet beach to relax. So definitely not the place to come if you're looking for a rowdy...More
