Let's start with the entrance fee of 750 baht and the fact that the place doesn't worth it. After paying such a high fee, off course u have to pay to take a pic with the sea lion and pay also a high fee to take a picture with the tiger. I'm not really sure the animals are treated very... More

Fully expecting a run-down local zoo effort my wife and I were pleasantly surprised to see how well the animals were looked after. The highlight for us was the tiger photo and otters. This attraction is quite a pleasant experience, but don't expect a Lions of Longleat open plan safari park, it is what it says on the tin. It... More

Samui Aquarium and tiger zoo will leave you with mixed feelings. On one hand the species of fish and water life is abundant and very informative. But on the other hand, tigers, leopards and some exotic birds are treated to harsh treatments during their performances. The tigers are drugged for photography and the little cub is barely able to get... More

Highly recommend a visit! The Tiger Zoo is a must see and 'do' take photos with the baby and adult tigers and remember to see the tiger show and the bird show. Remember to take photos with the birds and parrots too. The aquarium is average but a great highlight is when you feed the turtles and fish, the seal... More

To put it short.... Don't fund this hell for animals. I would give it lower than a 1 star if I could. The tigers were drugged up and distressed as on occasions they would snap at the workers and their spikey sticks. Forced to obey a strict routine of photography with vistors and bottle feeding this is their life, day... More

Why in this day and age are places like this even allowed???? All animals are not for human entertainment. Disgusting! Miss this place from any map! Shame on you all.

We went to this place at 4 pm as it was close to our hotel. 10 minutes from the hotel. The place looked as it was shut down permanently. We saw the board which told us about the timings from morning till 2pm. The tickets were expensive for no reason. It was a very typical children type show. No need... More

My wife and I were driving around and stumbled upon this sad sad zoo. From the moment we walked in I felt sick to my stomach. The poor hundreds of fish are neglected with concrete floor tanks and really weird aquariums.(zero effort to recreate a natural enviornment) that and in one tank there was a dead turtle...terrible The lions, tigers... The day starts off by being picked up by courtesy bus and taken to the zoo. Got to have our photos taken with a tiger and seal. Lunch was included and then the seal show and bird show after lunch. Had a great day. Others in our group who didn't go were very jealous.

I came here to see some of thailands amazing wildlife , but came away shocked at the conditions the animals we're being kept in. The animals were in Small enclosures and looked starved, drugged and unhappy. Considering Tigers are one of the most endangered species now I couldn't see any indication of helping these animals repopulate . Just purely used... More

There are only 2 places for the small area for the tigers. 1. Picture with the tiger area 2.The place for the tigers are waiting for their performance behind the stage.which is a temporary place for them to work with us. Just a couple hours later they will go back to the tiger gardens area. (See the galleries.). Hope you... More
