What felt weird about this cat cafe from the get-go was the fact that you had to wait outside for a bit while they prepared to let you in. It was so clean! Which was great. We had to wash up and wear foot covers,...More
We popped in for a coffee and to come spend some time with the kitties, we ourselves had cats back home before we moved to Thailand, this place is great and even though some people reviewed the place as being to strict etc on patrons...More
A nice place for cat lovers since you can play around and enjoy watching those little friends having fun. Food and drinks are just optional but you need to pay 100 baht/hr if you do not want to eat or drink.
We visited today after recommendations from other travellers. We were given a briefing before we were let in to the cafe, we had to wash our hands and wear covers on our feet. We were informed that we had to all buy at least a...More
This was a lovely experience. We went early in the morning and all the cats were excited to see us. The cats are all healthy and happy. The coffee served are good, but I would be honest and mention that it is a bit overpriced.
Living in Los Angeles, my boyfriend and I have always wanted to go to a cat cafe but it's too expensive in LA. When we decided to go to Chiang Mai, we were so excited to find out about Catmosphere. We stopped for a coffee...More
Boyfriend and I rented bicycles and rode out to Catmosphere Cat Cafe (10/15 minutes from Old Town). Welcomed at the door by a member of staff who clearly knew a lot about each individual cat who lived here. They ask that you do not pick...More
Despite the name of the cafe, there's not much atmosphere. The cats are never allowed out into the open air (I discussed this with the staff) so if you've got a few dozen cats locked up in a small coffee shop, they get agitated and...More

Re. cats being stressed: The cats can move freely in most of the 4-storey building. If they're annoyed, they'll usually just vanish upstairs. This is why most of the time, you'll only see...More
Please be aware this cafe only accomodates for 4 groups or up to 6 couples. Would have been 4/5 if we didnt have to wait for 20 minutes at the door to be allowed in. This was around 3pm. Staff first impression was not the...More

Not all of the cats are neutered as we are planning to selectively mate some of them. However, most of the males are neutered. The male you saw attempting to mate today was probably Cooper (our new Persian) - he's new at Catmosphere and hasn't been neutered yet but it will happen soon.
I hope this answers your questions and hope to welcome you back at our café soon!
