THANK you to NAMO for hosting Melissa Smith's restorative yoga immersion training. This sweet yoga studio is easy to get to in the heart of the old city by Tapae gate. Beautiful hard wood floors and fans to keep away the humidity and heat made the expensive very pleasant. The staff was very accommodating during our long hours at the... More

I attended a drop in slow flow vinyasa class and found the class to be okay. It was my first somatic type yoga class and I learned that it definitely isn't for me - but that's ok! The instructor was nice but again maybe not the one for me. Everyone is different and I would still recommend trying this studio.... More

I attended a hatha flow yoga session in the evening and enjoyed the yoga, but wasn't quite able to focus on many of the poses due the mosquitoes, I ended up with quite a few nasty bites. The teacher was friendly and helpful. But beware, it's not where Google maps says it is! It's about 700m north!

Had a great class in this lovely studio. Lots of light and air flowing through the studio during class and there's a cute cafe downstairs. Located right by the East gate, it is hidden in an alley (they are called Soi all throughout Thailand), so may be a bit hard to find, but you can enter either from Moon Mueang... More

I took a drop-in yoga class at NAMO. The teacher was really nice and helpful. The place is centrally located but still very peaceful and quiet. I think the class was really good. It was open for beginners as well as advanced yogis. Even though it was a rather slow class it was pretty challenging. I definitly can recommend taking... More

Yoga studio located just inside the tha pae gate very easy to find, just walk past Burger King towards the north gate and the alley is on the left. Thoroughly enjoyed the class & the instructor was very helpful & nice. Will visit again when back in Chiang mai :)

We did a half day Thai Back massage course at NAMO's and it was really worth it. Our massage teacher was super nice and provided us with lots of helpful information including a little guide book which showed all the massage positions we learned. After watching our teacher perform the massage techniques, all of us got the chance to practice... More

I went to two drop in classes - both had different teachers but they offered a welcoming atmosphere. I usually practice Ashtanga Yoga, but the two classes I attended were both Hatha in style. Nonetheless, they were both still great classes and it was lovely to try a slower paced style of yoga. It's well worth a visit if you... More

We did the short massage course and it was nice, nice room, half day, by ourselves. This said I had the impression that being the short course (only 3 hours) it was slow, with a break and ended half an hour before time, so... A little bit over 2 hours in total maybe (we were given the option of keep... More
