Way more local than the Night Bazaar, lost of food stuffs to taste for little money, and of course handcrafted stuffs amongst the seemingly inevitable "goods" from China. Not many tourists around, so you really get a local flavour. Can be quite packed but that's (to me) part of it as well...

It's like a never ending road packed with food stalls, street vendors and cheap massage. Try to look around before you decide to pay for something as most goods are sold by different sellers at different price. Good time to go is 5-6pm, after that it gets reaaly crowded.

Good variety of food, walked along all the streets and browse the little alleys. Took quite a few hours. Be there early so it would not be so congested but then the crowds add to the feel of the market. One of the nicest markets in Chiang Mai and to add to it, weather in January was lovely.

The Saturday night market sells many things which are worth buying as souvenirs. You can also try the food, which are quite nice. There are also stalls selling Lazy Bears where you can get your name sew on it for free.

Another great market in Chiang Mai. Only on a Saturday night. Lots to see and heaps of food stall's to enjoy some tasty meals. I found there is some quite different item's for sale here than at other market's. Being of a narrow street, it does get quite crowded and hot here. Well worth a visit

Get there early and it's not so bad. We walked along for half an hour without making it to the end of the street. On the return journey we stopped for welcome foot massage. getting back to where we started required a little patience, it was full-on crowded. I bought an elephant, a Buddha figure and some sushi. If you... More

This market is not big, it is huge. I thought we had come to the end several times, but there was always more. Everything that you can imagine is here, and you can bargain all you want. The food is plentiful with many choices. The smells were wonderful as we walked through. Walk around here until you can't take it... More

It was HUGE and PACKED. Nonetheless, a very interesting place to visit. Seemingly endless stalls selling all sorts of things like food, clothes, soft toys, handmade soap, handicrafts, etc. It is similar to the Sunday night market so perhaps just pick one. Similar vendors and products. Go with an empty stomach, start with the food stalls which sold traditional Chiang... More

This night market is a must! It's huge and so much fun. Great place to pick up unique gifts and has a great vibe about it. There are things to nibble on along the way as well. Give yourself lots of time and go early! We liked this one over the Sunday night market.

We are a family of 5 (2 adults early 30s, 12 y/o boy, 8 y/o and 6 y/o girls) and we visited the market on our first day in Thailand. It is very busy, vibrant and fun. The kids struggled with the crowds and cultural differences, but this was mostly down to being tired and jetlagged. There is all sorts... More
