I found that the vendors here were a little adverse to the haggle. Maybe times have changed since the last time I was in Thailand or maybe people are a little less about haggling but I found vendors to be quite rude to multiple various customer in various interactions, as I observed. There were some great finds that salvaged this... More

If you like shopping, eating or entertainment then this is a must not miss ! Shopping is endless and don't forget to "bargain" as the vendor normally set the price high in expectation of your counter offer. But don't forget these families make their living from this so be fair. Then there is the Food ! If you don't like... More

Anusarn Market differs from Chiang Mai's numerous street markets in that it is under cover. It is extensive, and offers a wide range of goods, from clothing, material, cosmetics, herbs and spices, handbags and accessories to electronics. It also has several restaurants, including Thai, Indian and western food. There are several spots offering foot and back massages, and one stall... More

There's loads to discover as you wander through this colourful and vibrant market. Not only stalls selling a variety of goods but some great food too. Look for the Irish pub, Indian Restraunt/cafe and of course you must try out some delicious Thai food. I also found some burgers cooking on a BBQ, couldn't pass it as I was craving... More

The stalls are set up around 6pm every night. There is a huge undercover area, all very orderly and easy to navigate as well as many stalls outside selling everything imaginable. Great restaurants surround the undercover area and food vendors are sprinkled liberally throughout the outside areas selling delicious Thai foods, drinks and deserts. The vendors are friendly but not... More

Sprawled over several streets these markets have stalls of many descriptions, selling many varied goods. Prices vary according to the individual seller. No admission cost. Highly recommended.

I have been to Chiang Mai several times, and never ever have I missed out going to the Anusarn Night Market. Not, that there a spectacular new things to expect, it's just the feeling to deep-dive into a certain aspect of Thai culture. I love the various foods that are for grabs, the exotic scents, the greats handcrafted things that... More

Large undercover market off the night bazaar street. Plenty of the same same but different stall's. With a great food market all around. Bars with music also. Nice to go see but can get hot due to being undercover.

You have to go here at night so all the shops are open and it is cooler. If you can imagine it, they probably have it. I bought a painting and some dried fruits to take home. I had to by a piece of luggage to carry everything in. Happy souvenir hunting.
