Suggest using the zoo bus service. Very spread out over a large area. The Pandas are a must see. Can get up close to feed elephant & giraffes.

It's THB 150 per person for the non-Panda tickets and if you include the Panda zone, then it is THB 100 more per person. If you are taking your own car inside, you need to pay THB 75 extra.

It was open during my visit. You might contact the zoo when in Chiang Mai before you go there. There are many things to do in Chiang Mai. I would also highly recommend a visit to Pai and Dragon Flight zip line.

Hello you can defiantly buy them on the gate when you arrive :) it's massive zoo so I don't think they would ever sell out.
