Beautiful and relaxing
Jan 2020 • Couples
10 waterfalls to see, some wonderful, some not so amazing. Lots of areas to sit and have a relax or picnic. Lovely woodlands around it. Can swim in some of the pools but not all, follow the signs. Not ideal for those who are unsteady on their feet or unfit. Some areas are quite steep, narrow or uneven. Cafe was closed when we were there but we had brought water and snacks with us.

Pleasant but not stunning
Jan 2020 • Couples
Not sure if we were spilt by having gone earlier in our trip to the Erawan Falls but felt slightly underwhelmed by these waterfalls. The individual falls are pleasant but not overly spectacular and the lack of a crowd gave the place little atmosphere. Check the falls out but don't have too higher an expectation.

I visited this place with my family+ kids. Very fun, there was a total of 9 waterfalls within walking distance. A tad of a hike, but very fun for the family. Our family really enjoyed this place, great for an early morning stroll.

Great Day Trip Activity!
Nov 2019
An absolutely beautiful waterfall with 10 levels. At the top tier, tourists can swim and enjoy the view of the waterfall. On several levels, there are picnic tables to help tourists enjoy a nice lunch. There are many restaurants at the parking lot level. The walking trail from the parking lot to the 10th level tier is not for those without some sort of athletic ability. Almost all uphill with some flat portions, steps are a mix of concrete and natural stone. Would love to go back!

Loved it

Mae Sa waterfall was a great day trip, there was 10 stages to the waterfall each stage being individual and unique. The water was cold and felt amazing to swim in leaving you feeling fresh afterwards. Nearby are many local restaurants at good price in beautiful locations. I would recommend heading up the mountain your visit at the waterfall to catch the sunset from high ground.

Amazing Exp

Waterfall is an impressive eight level waterfall with a small plunge pool for swimming in. It is popular with both Thai’s and foreign tourists and can get especially busy on weekends with families. Entrance costs 200 Baht for foreigners and it is a good idea to pack a blanket or picnic and spend a day at the waterfall.

Beautiful views, shame about the incorrect signage posts.....
Nov 2019 • Friends
The waterfalls were beautiful, not breathtaking views but definitely worth a visit. The hike is moderate and mostly pathed, easy to follow. Until you reach a point, where you come across a path going forward or a route highlighted to you with signs that steers off to the right through some trees. DO NOT follow the signs!!! We spent 45 minutes following these signs through what can only be described as a combination of a rubbish tip and pig farm! We asked several locals along the way who pointed us continually along the marked route. I’m not sure if this was another hike or just a random route, but it certainly did not head to any waterfalls!
We took a dip in the final waterfall... once we finally found it! Which was wonderful after all that hiking.
The photos attached show the x and the wrong route.... follow the x!!

Mediocre hike with pretty waterfalls. Best to go in the morning before it gets too hot. Bring bug spray and water. You can go in the water at the very top! We rented a motorbike to get here.

Great getaway from the city!
Jul 2019
This waterfall is an easy drive out of Chiang Mai. It has 10 tiers that you can easily walk to and you will see lots of people enjoying the waterfall. We also saw some cute kittens near the waterfalls which was a nice treat. Overall a nice place to be with nature. There are also some stalls selling food in the parking lot.
