The tranquility, people having fun, lush environment, and good energy and people is what I love most about this park. Also, feeding the fish and birds is always fun.....

I was in the area of the park due to the flower Festival. It has been upgraded and improved. They have added lots of flowers. There are tulip[s, petunias etc It was really busy during the festival but usually it is quiet. There has been some added public art. It is on the theme of elephants. Its very neat addition... More

Chiang Mai's city park is the perfect place to rest after a full day of walking around the city and discovering it's many beauties! You can sit in a cafe or on the grass and enjoy a coconut ice cream while watching people perform acrobatic yoga. Travelers gather at the park to play music, practice yoga and enjoy the greenery.... Great little park to spend an afternoon in. Especially on the weekends, you can find tons of locals & travelers alike in the park exercising, playing guitar, practicing yoga and hanging out with friends & family. Cool place to relax with friends for a few hours.

We took a day tour to the Park. The guide was very knowledgeable and her English was adequate to understand it cost 1,300 (€34.30) per person. We were picked up at our Guest House at 8.30 am and ret at 6.00 pm. Our lunch was included which consisted of a topical Thai meal of soup, veg and rice and a... More

A lovely place to escape the busy lifestyle of Chiang Mai, although the traffic is ever present around the park. Early morning is a good time to visit, when people come to take their exercise and practice Tai Chi. Many types of birds to be found in the park, and a coffee shop too.

Great for children to run about. Chiang mai has many wonderful places but lacks open spaces so this is worth a visit for families with young children who want park play and climb as well as feeding birds and fish; there is a place for yoga bunnies, fitness enthusiasts and those who like to people watch too :)

Terrific place to find people practicing alternative stuff, like yoga, thai chi, acrobatics. Very welcoming and with a great coffee shop in the centre.
