Taking the BTS is easy and much faster than taking a taxi or Grab as it does not Jam. The only downside is that it's very very packed during peak hours and you will be squeezed.

Gets you from A to B easily. Trains are clean. Plentiful. Easy to use. Found it was much more convenient than travelling around on the roads.

Easy to move around in Bangkok getting to places or connect to bus/taxi. Easy to buy tickets via machines.

Clean and air conditioned and runs regularly. The BTS runs regularly and on time. And has stops in or close to most of the tourist locations in downtown Bangkok.

Very good way to travel arround Bangkok. If you visit their website you can calculate the fair to the station you want to go. It is very clean and also very cold inside the train and it can be very crowded. We loved it.

This is better than getting a taxi and getting stuck in traffic. We used BTS to get around Bangkok and did not have any problem even if we were lugging a lot of baggage.

When i arrive at Suvarnabhumi airport, I go to the city using BTS. When I wish to travel within the city, I use BTS.

Fast, air-conditioned, and most important strictly adherent to the schedule. Seems to be the only way not to miss your flight in the city of traffic jams.

We used this to save walking a few miles and it was very quick, easy to use like the underground. I would use this again and it’s very cheap.

Not that I’ve seen. There are three types of machines; basic ones at every station that accept coins only, and two larger types at some stations that accept bank notes.

You can purchase a single journey ticket at each station. The machines accept coin only, however the ticket counters will accept notes. You can also purchase a top up card for a small fee at the ticket counter, this way... More

Thais are generally kind to the elderly. But BTS is another story as didn't see much good access for the disabled. Some stations do not even have escalators, just stairs, plenty of them and my wife, who has back problems... More
