Never seen so many flowers! We went at night and it was raining but still had a good time. A massive place well worth a visit. I had a go at making one of the decorations but was hopeless :-)

this is a really huge market, open on weekends. Very crowdy, hot, but you can find anything. Street food is decent, coconut ice cream was very good. Drink a lot of water.

Lots to look at from food to t shirts to handicrafts this place has it all. But I found the animal section a bit sad. By some squirrels for a few hundred baht and release them into the wild.

Every weekend, thousands of tourists make their way up
to this Northern Bangkok suburb to get lost in an
enormous maze of shops at the Chatuchak Weekend
Market. Home to almost 10,000 vendors, you’ll find
everything from vintage sneakers to comic books and
Thai handicrafts being sold here. You name it,
Chatuchack probably sells it. The market is a great
place to pick up souvenirs, but be sure to bargain for

In reality there is generally someone there at all times, but doubt if you'd want to be getting there for 4.30am:). I'd suggest a safe bet for tourists would be from 8.30am til 10pm Hope that helps
